However, when placed a in public school (or private school, for that matter) situation there will be bullying. In fact, it probably happens in the work place as well. It is just a part of life. Unforfunately! I hate to hear about this, but the reality is, we as parents should instill within our children the knowledge of how special each person is. Made in HIS image! We need to give our children self confidence, and love! Parents should always offer the first prevention, and should be constantly in check with what is going on in the lives of thier children.
I would like to think children are being taught Right From Wrong... But they aren't in some homes, Sad isn't it?

I hope there is no misunderstanding above... I do not believe homeschooling is for everyone and chose to home educate for very personal reasons. Also, I believe there is no excuse for the behavior of bullies. I simply meant that my wish is for all parents, everywhere, to teach: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I hope there was no confusion :)
I am a wife to a good, honest man, mother to an obedient, tender daughter and curious, loving son, and a friend who constantly strives to be better. I believe in loving the Lord first, then family, and everything else falls into place. I love the SC coast, good music, family time, fresh cut flowers, Christmas time, Sweet Tea, my wedding day, house plans and home decorating. I am blessed and have chosen to be a stay-at-home mom, and while it's the hardest thing I've ever done, it's also what I gain the most joy from. Pure joy. I am hoping that, through this blog, I grow in my personal daily walk with our mighty God and that I try to bring more glory to Him in all that I am.
